The Step of Brass

Mock up

Step 1 -- Mock Up

Confirm product details with customer and work out the mock up based on the technology.

1.Confirm the details with customer:
material, size, plating color, 2D or 3D, craft or technology, thickness, and attachment.

2.Customer shares design or clear pictures.

3D CNC Artwork

Step 2 -- 3D CNC Artwork

Work out the 3D artwork according to the mock up

Customer should provide clear picture for the details.

brass Mold engraving

Step 3 -- Mold Engraving

Set up the molding progress, put a blank mold on the engraving machine and engrave it out.

1.It’s fit for a product is iron, brass,or aluminum material, lower than 50mm, less internal cutting.

2.Die-struck mold is round shape and steel material, steel material is durable and with good corrosion resistance.

Punching Embryo

Step 4 -- Punching Embryo

Take the mold to the puching machine and punch the logo on the metal plate.

Cutting Embryo

Step 5 -- Cutting Embryo

Make a cutter as the shape of the product, set it on the matchine and cut out the product from the metal plate.

Back pin welding

Step 6 -- Back Pin Welding

Add the glue, put back clutches on the backside, and bake it to stablize the clutches.

We have clutches in 8mm, 10mm, 12mm. 8mm clutch is commonly used, and we use 12mm clutch if pins with LED light.

Polishing Surface

Step 7 -- Polishing Surface

Hand polish it again to a smooth mirror-like texture.

1.Polish lightly to advoid the damage if metal lines are very thin.

2.Avoid scratching.

Step 8 -- Plating

After polishing, we are going to electroplate. This process will creat a metal coating to improve the surface qualities of objects-such as the abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance,or appearance.

1.Before plating, it is necessary to confirm that the surface of the product is clean.

2.After plating, please check the quality.

Color Mixing

Step 9 -- Color Mixing

Mix color as pantone color number.

Only pantone solid coated we can do.

Enamel filling

Step 10 -- Enamel Filling

Coloring every color by coloring needle, and to bake and dry the color when coloring done

1.Only recessed area can be colored. The minumum coloring area of soft enamel is 3.0mm, and hard enamel is 0.5mm.

2. It is necessary a dividing line between two colors

Epoxy Covering

Step 11 -- Epoxy Covering

Add epoxy dome a clear plastic coating to soft enamel, silkscreen, and off set print style metal products to protect your design from damage.

1.Used for the design with multi-color.

2.Used for a complicated design with some details can’t be colored.

Step 12 -- Printing

Pad Printing, an offset printing process that involves an image being transferred via a silicone pad onto a substrate.

1.At present, the bigest logo our factory can print is 65mm.

2.Used for the design with multi-color.

3.Used for a complicated design with some details can’t be colored.

Accessory assembling

Step 13 -- Accessory Assembling

Add the accessory to the product

Step 14 -- Packaging
